The Royal Tutor Anniversary

Here is the second of our anime anniversary celebrations. The Royal Tutor anime started on 04 April 2017, so this year is its 5th anniversary (just like Starmyu Season 2)! ^-^

Décor:

• Cast picture.

• ‘Happy Anniversary’ sign.

• Chibi Heine standee.

To assemble the printable décor items, print them out, cut and paste onto a cardboard sheet (as shown). Cut out; trimming if necessary, and then fold.

*A tip in folding the stands, pinch either side of the line you want to fold and then carefully work your way along the line you want to fold; pinching it as you go to create the fold.

Once folded, use some left over cardboard to form a support for the cast picture and glue it in place – as shown. (I used a piece I trimmed from the ‘base’ of this picture to form my support.)

(Trivia: On the ‘Happy Anniversary’ sign, if you look closely at the crown, you’ll see the princes’ colours on four little spheres: Purple = Kai, Green = Bruno, Blue = Leonhard and Orange = Licht. (I know Licht is also represented by pink, but I felt the orange worked better here. ^-^))

Of course, if you want to do a lot more than just the little printables and maybe a pretty table cloth or doily, totally go for it!

Food:

• Sachertorte.

• Kasekrainer (inspired sausage roll/pies).

• Coffee (or your drink of choice).

(I’ve included a recipe ‘booklet’ in the printables set where you can find the recipes I used for the

sachertorte and the ‘kasekrainer’.)

This is the same sachertorte that was featured in the Fan Side Menu a few weeks back. As mentioned then, my sachertorte did not come out as beautifully as the ones seen in the anime or from more experienced chefs, but it was my first ever attempt at making sachertorte so… given that, I feel it came out very well. (It also tasted very nice, so, aesthetics aside, it was a success.)

The ‘kasekrainer’ was an interesting challenge as I don’t eat pork, nor did I think I could find sausages that would work for me for the kasekrainer (which is a kind of cheese sausage from Austria). So, I decided to make my own version of it. The result is basically a beef and cheese sausage roll/pie. (Which is lovely; highly recommend trying this one even if you don’t make it for the anniversary.)

Activities:

• Watch Season 1 Episode 1 (at least) or as many as you wish/have time for.

• Inspired outfit.

Well, that’s it from me for now. I hope you enjoy celebrating the Royal Tutor anime anniversary. Let me know what you get up to by contacting me or using the #fansideoflife hashtag on twitter or instagram to allow myself and our fellow fans to find your posts.

Don’t forget to pick up the printables set for this post before you leave!

Until next time, keep enjoying your fan side of life!
