If this is the first post you’re seeing of the ‘Seasons of Anime’ series, here’s a link to the Spring and

Summer posts which came before this one. ^-^

Autumn

Red, orange and yellow leaves signify autumn to many (unless you’re surrounded by evergreen trees in which case… autumn’s a little harder to spot in the natural world around you…).

(Please note: if one of your favourite autumn releases is not mentioned here, take the opportunity to be creative and make an activity for it that you can enjoy! Also, I’m only focusing on the ones that aired during this season to make it easier to pick which series to include in each post. Any story can have seasonal activities themed according to them; again, this is your opportunity to come up with those activities for you to enjoy. ^-^)

La Corda D’Oro – Listen to some autumnally themed classical pieces or the autumnal section of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. (If you actually play an instrument, why not try to find a score for one of these pieces that is arranged for your particular instrument and learn to play it?)

Touken Ranbu Hanamaru – For a traditional Japanese activity, how about go view some autumn leaves? For a not so traditional Japanese activity, but one seen in the Hanamaru anime for one of the autumn month episodes (S01E09 ~ September), how about ‘playing’ a little dress-up?

Starmyu – Have an Ayanagi Festival Party. You could theme it according to one of the team’s performances (and thus have multiple opportunities for parties throughout the season ^-^) or combine them into one. (Performance options would include: Caribbean Groove, Seishun Countdown, Masterpiece and Koukou Hoshi Kageki – On Stage.)

Yowamushi Pedal – Go on a bicycle ride before settling down to watch an episode of your favourite autumn released anime.

All Out – Organize an autumnal barbeque. (Maybe with a dessert themed to Sekizan ~ seeing how he likes sweet things.)

Bonjour Koiaji Patisserie – Make a beautiful seasonal confectionery.

Tsurune – Go for a walk or run (with or without a furry friend to accompany you).

Well… that’s it for my favourites that debuted during autumn. What about you? Have any of these inspired you to do anything seasonal ~ with a season released anime or any of your favourite stories? If you do decide to do something seasonal that is related to one of your favourite stories, let me know! I’d love to hear what you did. ^-^

Naturally, these activity suggestions are not limited just to autumn, but, if you want, can be included in the other seasons too.

Come back on Thursday for the Winter instalment of this series.

Until then, keep enjoying your fan side of life!
